iEditore is committed to promoting and supporting the publication of high-quality scientific research while adhering to principles of transparency, integrity, and accessibility. This Editorial Policy outlines the fundamental guidelines for authors, reviewers, and editors.

Open Access

iEditore follows the Open Access model, ensuring that all published articles are freely accessible without restrictions for readers, institutions, and researchers. Open Access fosters knowledge dissemination and enhances scientific impact.

Publication Ethics

iEditore adheres to international guidelines on scientific publication ethics, including those set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). High standards of integrity are required in research and manuscript preparation. Misconduct such as plagiarism, data falsification, or manipulation will not be tolerated.

Peer Review Process

All submissions to iEditore undergo a rigorous peer review process. The journal employs a double-blind review model, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to guarantee fairness and impartiality. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and independence.

Publication Agreement

Authors must accept a publication agreement that defines mutual rights and responsibilities. This includes adherence to ethical standards, disclosure of potential conflicts of interest, and proper attribution of authorship.

Licensing and Copyright

iEditore publishes all articles under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, allowing free use and redistribution of the work, provided proper credit is given to the author.

Image Authorization, Licensing, and Figure Copyright: Authors are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions for using copyrighted images, graphs, or figures. Proper citation of sources is required.

Authorship and Contributions

Each author must have significantly contributed to the research and manuscript preparation. iEditore follows the guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) to define authorship and contributorship.

Data Sharing and Reproducibility

Authors are encouraged to make raw research data available in public repositories to promote scientific reproducibility.

Conflict of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, academic, or personal conflicts of interest that may influence publication decisions.

Plagiarism Policy

iEditore employs plagiarism detection software to verify manuscript originality. Submissions containing plagiarism or self-plagiarism will be rejected or retracted.

Preprint and Prior Publication Policy

iEditore accepts submissions of articles previously deposited in preprint servers, provided this is disclosed at the time of submission.

Corrections and Retractions

In cases of significant errors or ethical violations, iEditore follows COPE guidelines to issue corrections or retractions. Authors may request updates to published articles if justified.

Archiving Policy

Additionally, iEditore adopts the PKP PN plugin, which deposits published content in the PKP Preservation Network. The Public Knowledge Project (PKP) developed the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS). The LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) program provides decentralized and distributed preservation, ensuring perpetual and uninterrupted access while maintaining the authentic original version of the content. PKP PN ensures that journals not included in other digital preservation services (such as CLOCKSS or Portico) remain preserved for long-term access.
